Ansley Bannister, LCSW

Ansley Bannister is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Psychology from the University of GA and her Masters in Social Work from Valdosta State University. Ansley’s background is in community mental health treating individuals with depression, anxiety, family conflict, and trauma. Ansley has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Recovery Oriented Cognitive Therapy.

Ansley’s therapeutic approach is to remain person centered and trauma informed with individuals. Ansley’s belief is that individuals are the experts of their own lives and have the ability to achieve their goals. Ansley enjoys working alongside individuals to achieve their goals and help them achieve what they want in their life. A strong therapeutic alliance with individuals is essential, and Ansley strives to achieve this through providing individuals empathy, compassion, and a safe space to share their experiences. Ansley enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults for individual counseling.
