Shameyrae Miller is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, behavioral health assessor, and psychotherapist with experience across public health, behavioral health, nonprofit, and community-based systems. She holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master of Science in Public Programs Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences.
Shameyrae works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, caregiver stress, and complex family dynamics. She is passionate about helping individuals better understand their internal emotional world, identify protective patterns, regulate overwhelming emotions, and reconnect with their authentic sense of self.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and insight-oriented. Shameyrae draws from evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, attachment-based interventions, and mindfulness practices. She believes healing occurs not only through symptom reduction, but through deeper self-awareness, emotional safety, meaningful connection, and the ability to live in alignment with one’s inner truth.
Her style is compassionate yet direct, reflective yet practical. Shameyrae creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel emotionally seen, supported, challenged toward growth, and empowered to move beyond survival-based patterns into intentional living. She is committed to creating a safe and affirming space where clients can strengthen emotional resilience and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.
