
Danielle is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia. She has experience providing individual counseling in both nonprofit and private practice settings. Danielle enjoys working with a wide range of clients including children, adolescents, and adults.
Danielle believes therapy should be a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported without judgment. She believes meaningful change happens through connection, collaboration, and patience, and she is honored to support clients as they move toward healing and growth. She works collaboratively with individuals navigating trauma, emotional challenges, anxiety, depression, and life transitions, creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, respect, and understanding. Danielle is committed to helping clients not only find relief but also build practical skills for emotional regulation.
Danielle integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), the Unified Protocol (UP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Incredible Years Parent Management Training. She works with clients to strengthen mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, and healthy coping skills.
Danielle is practicing under the supervision of Pamela Madsen, LPC, CPCS.
