Kati DeMine, LPC

Kati (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, who received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LaGrange College. She has been practicing since 2018, working with a wide range of clients including those struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, difficulty focusing, hyperactivity, family conflict, transition to college/career, academic stressors, bullying, and grief. She works with children (ages 5 and up), teens, and young adults.

Kati’s theoretical orientation (how she approaches therapy) is humanistic, which is a fancy way of saying she places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the healing process, emphasizing the importance of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. Kati loves working with clients who might describe themselves as “quirky” or “neuro-spicy” and she has experience working with clients on the Autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities. Kati’s clients generally describe her as bubbly, direct/blunt, not easily offended, and say that she has a “solid” sense of humor.”
